FAPA Award Announcement

More Good News!!

The good news keeps on flowing. Had someone told me, in July 2015, that by Memorial Day Weekend, 2021, I would have three award-winning novels published, and available where all books are sold, I would have laughed and thought that person was crazy. Yet, here we are, May 29, 2021, and I received notification that my 2021, Book Excellence Award-Winning LGBTQ/Mystery/Romance novel, Searching for Sarah, is a finalist in the prestigious Florida Authors & Publishers Association (FAPA) Award.

As they state in their letter, Searching for Sarah was up against numerous entries and the competition was extremely tough. To have medaled at all is a distinct accomplishment in writing, editing, proofing, production, and publishing. You and your team should be proud—you have joined the ranks of a select few who have demonstrated exceptional talent in your genre.

Let me state today, I feel extremely Blessed, and proud. And as I mentioned to Dawn Reese, on her nationally syndicated television, radio, and Internet program earlier this week, I have the best support system, and team in the business, from my beloved wife, Jeanette, four sons, editor and publisher extraordinaire, Janet Fix, thewordverve, along with a group of friends and fans that comprise my street team, TeamV. And, of course, let’s not forget my ultimate supporter, The Lord, whom without His guidance, and direction, I wouldn’t be writing this today.
